Join us for Glendale’s 2025 Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 26 from 11 am – 3 pm at Verdugo Park. Stop by and say hello and check out our worm bin, solar water cooker, zero waste ideas and more! The City will offer a clothing swap, e-bike testing, electric leaf blower testing, a planting station, food trucks, a mobile zoo and even goat yoga!
GEC Board Members honored to speak in support of Glendale’s Earth Day Proclamation!
The Glendale Environmental Coalition Board attended the April 15, 2025 City Council meeting for its 2025 Earth Day Proclamation. We were invited to speak along with staff from Glendale’s Sustainability Office, Glendale Water and Power, and Glendale’s Public Works and Community Services & Parks Departments. We highlighted the city’s environmental and climate work, including the recent interconnection of Glendale’s first city-sited solar facility. Alongside our coalition members, we have been happy to advocate for these efforts since 2017, at council and commission meetings and in the community!
