Glendale City Council Meeting

July 23 @ 6:00 pm

Glendale City Council scheduled to VOTE on Package of GWP Plans including new gas at Grayson.

Council is expected to vote on passage of the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). GWP will put forward their proposed energy plans, which we expect to include up to 100 MW of new gas at Grayson. GWP will also share he proposals they are interested in pursuing from the Clean Energy Request for Proposals.

The Council meets most Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Meetings run different lengths depending on what’s on the agenda. A limited number of people are allowed to speak (3 minutes max) during the Community Event Announcements section of the meeting, closer to the beginning, and there are unlimited speaking slots during Oral Communications, near the end (5 minutes max).

Use your voice as a resident to let our elected officials know how you feel! Speak from the heart, be respectful, be informed. There’s more info about logistics of submitting a card to speak, etc., in our  Speaking Tips.

If you would like to speak on the Grayson Gas Repowering and Glendale’s Energy Plan for the future, and have questions or would like help crafting your message—please contact us: GlendaleEnvironment@gmail.com
